What was once a radical idea for the New Zealand education system is now a reality, as crèches and educational units attached to high schools across the country support young mums and dads to complete their secondary school education.
Meet the new mums at He Puāwai Teen Parent Unit, and those helping them follow their dreams, as they tackle the biggest learning curve of their lives ¬– parenting whilst trying to graduate from high school.

Over the past seven episodes, Michael and Ganesh have helped all sorts of Kiwi families, from fast food lovers, to energy drink addicts, families saving for their dream holiday, and ones breaking the bank on the weekly shop. They’ve shown us how to save a fortune all while eating more nutritious meals, with just a few simple tips and tricks.
On the finale this week, Michael and Ganesh meet the Lius, who are struggling with home cooking. They own a café, however they don’t feel confident in their own kitchen. The family spend a fortune on shopping, but end up eating out five times a week.
Time for Mike and Ganesh to bring some order to the chaos, and help one final family learn to Eat Well for Less!
MKR: The Rivals

Ben’s scandalous secret is out on MKR: The Rivals and accusations fly in the most explosive dinner party yet. It’s the final Instant Restaurant and controversial critics Sophia and Romel know they have to pull out all of the stops, but their out of control kitchen has nothing on the fireworks at the table as the love triangle between Ben, Lauren and Roula reaches breaking point.
Monday night sees House Manu take on House Colin in the first elimination cook off. Meanwhile, the truth is served with a side of denial as the two accused lovebirds face the music.
Finally on Tuesday, the first restaurant takeover kicks off and House Manu must deliver Mexican street food in the hope of avoiding elimination.
It’s a drama-packed week on MKR: The Rivals, and you won’t want to miss it!
