Georgia will follow in the footsteps of fellow model, Victoria Secret ‘Angel’, and Project Runway US host Heidi Klum.

She'll lead the charge as host and head judge in the local version of the hit reality series.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be coming home to be part of the very first season of Project Runway New Zealand,” says Georgia.

“To help launch the career of a Kiwi designer, while giving people a glimpse into the world of fashion, is beyond exciting. Haere Ra, New York – and see you soon, Auckland!”

Georgia grew up between New Zealand and Australia. She was discovered at age 12, while accompanying her older sister to a casting at a local modelling agency.

She received her first break walking in the 2012 Chanel show in Versailles.

Since then she has made international runway appearances for designers such as: Chanel, Victoria’s Secret, Miu Miu, TopShop, Jeremy Scott, DKNY and Yeezy.

Georgia has also appeared in leading fashion magazines Vogue Italia, W Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, and Cosmopolitan, to name a few.

She's also featured in campaigns for H&M, Diesel, Banana Republic, Agent Provocateur, GAP and many other top brands.

Project Runway New Zealand will see ambitious designers compete for the opportunity of a lifetime – to show their skills not only to a panel of industry judges, but the rest of New Zealand.

Each week, designers compete against one another in a series of demanding challenges that test resourcefulness and creativity.

At the end of every episode, after sending their creation down the catwalk, one competitor – determined by Georgia and the judging panel – will face elimination.

The final challenge sees the few remaining designers tasked to create a full collection, which ultimately decides who will be crowned champion of the runway.

Could you be New Zealand’s next fashion sensation?

The other judges joining Georgia Fowler are yet to be announced. The series air will on TVNZ 2 this year, stay tuned for more details.
