Trade Minister David Parker has revealed the full details of the re-negotiated and re-named Trans-Pacific Partnership deal.

Now called the CPTPP, or Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Trade, the agreement no longer includes the USA, but a ban on foreign residential home buyers has been included.

However, Parker says risks cannot be ruled out.

“I don't pretend that there aren't residual risks for New Zealand, I just think that the opportunities outweigh the risks demonstrably.”

The agreement is set to be signed next month.
