NZ's finest musicians gather to pay tribute to reggae icon Carl Perkins
Carl Perkins was a member of pioneering Aotearoa reggae group Herbs in the early 80s and for the last decade, he played in House of Shem.
Perkins died, aged 59, after a battle with bowel cancer and now the best in the NZ music industry are coming together to pay tribute to his legacy.
Some of Aotearoa's best in the music industry will make an appearance such as House of Shem, Ruia and Ranea, Che Fu, Ria Hall, Herbs, Southside of the Bombays and others.
The tribute concert will take place in Auckland City at Studio at 8 PM tonight.
