It's a homecoming for Manly Sea Eagles second-rower Lewis Brown as his side prepares to play the Warriors in Christchurch this weekend.

Besides training, the team is spending a lot of time yesterday with kids from Tuahiwi School promoting the game and teaching them about league and healthy lifestyles.

His side 'hosts' the Warriors on Saturday; they have the backing of Ngāi Tahu who played a part in designing a special jersey and trophy for the game.

Brown says although he is reaching the end of his professional career it's important to share his love and passion for the game with the up and coming generation.
