Kiwi Squash star Joelle King met her match yesterday at the World Series final in Chicago.

Ranked ninth internationally, King qualified for the World Series final after beating the second-ranked player from Egypt, El Welily.

But even before her match against another Egyptian, Nour El Tayeb, she admitted she was up against a pretty tough opponent.

“It's not over yet and I know I've got a big match on my hands tonight. Nour has been playing some amazing squash and she's number three in the world now for a reason. I'm trying not to be too excited yet. Obviously, I want to enjoy the moment and just play the best squash, to be honest.”

And after a tough match where they were neck and neck, the full-time score 3-2 decided who the winner was, Egypt's Nour El Tayeb.
