Protesters are mobilising to protest against the controversial far-right speakers Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux.

The Canadian pair is in the country and is scheduled to speak in Auckland today at Aotea Square and they've gained notoriety for speaking out against Islam, gays and indigenous rights.

The duo is currently on a world tour and southern has been banned from the UK forever for distributing racial material.

Despite this, she says they don't intend to stop there.

"There are thousands of people in NZ who want to have these conversations and were not going to deny them that just because there have been a few people who want to protest us."

The 'Rally Against Racism' peaceful protest will commence at 5:30 PM this afternoon at Aotea Square.
