Cyclone Gita havoc
As forecast, Cyclone Gita made landfall in New Zealand the other day, causing havoc all over the country.
The cyclone prompted seven states of emergency declarations in Christchurch, the Buller and Grey districts, Selwyn, Westland, Tasman and Taranaki.

Over in the South Island, over 6000 people were cut off after heavy rain caused landslides.
Heavy rain continued after tropical Cyclone Gita split, with one hovering over the west coast on the South Island, the other over the east coast.
