The 2018 All Blacks Sevens team has been named for the first tournament of the year.

Coach Clark Laidlaw has named a 13 man team with only one new face in Caleb Clarke, son of former All Black Eroni Clarke.

Joe Webber, Regan Ware, Kurt Baker and Teddy Stanaway are the Māori players that have been selected.

“We've sort of proved with our players that we've got we can compete in the last two tournaments and that's great. We think the guys are going to come in a week or two's time and they're going to add to the team and they've already shown that they're not that far away from when it comes to conditioning and skill and rugby decision making it with our guys. So again that's quite exciting that they're going to be up to speed quite quickly.”
