EAST MEETS WEST
Carefree Kiwi surfie Kim Hegan never expected to become part of a cultural revolution. But that’s what happened when he went to India. A Tibetan guru chose Kim to be one of only six Westerners to spread the word of ancient Buddhist teachings to Europe. Decades later those six disciples have grown into an international movement of many thousands. And Kim’s daughter Yeshe is shooting a documentary on his incredible journey to India, for European TV.
