Harper grew up in NZ, and was a couple of years behind Sarah Potts at Med School.
Despite the age difference they became firm friends – each the bright stars of their years.
As an adult medical student, NZ quickly became stifling for Harper and she left for more challenging opportunities in Australia and New York.
She was the youngest person ever to be appointed as an ED consultant in her hospital and eventually led several of the most successful ED teams in the state.
Although career-driven and working long and erratic hours, she enjoyed the New York lifestyle too. She was an active cultural participant in the city and, thanks to her youth and beauty, she's had many incredible experiences.
She is vague about why she left New York, but she now loves working in New Zealand again.
