Darren Robertson is set to join Colin Fassnidge at Australia's hottest dinner party!
He's looking forward to joining Colin at the table, to judge the third and final round of Instant Restaurants.
Darren is a chef and co-owner of Sydney's Three Blue Ducks restaurant, as well as The Farm in Byron Bay. He's also an author, family man and avid surfer.
The success of these restaurants led to the release of his two cookbooks, The Blue Ducks and The Blue Ducks Real Food.
A passionate advocate of farm-to-table cooking, Darren supports organic local produce wherever he can. He's known as the originator of the guerilla food movement in Australia.
Darren has a fair bit of experience in the cooking game, and more importantly he loves to eat!
After knowing Darren for 20 years, co-judge Colin says "he's worked for some of the greats in the world, and the amount of knowledge he brings to the competition is huge. We don't always agree on everything, and that's good."
"I'm stoked to be part of such an iconic Australian show," Darren says of MKR. "From the diversity in the characters, to the food we get to eat, it's awesome."
On Group 3, Darren says "get ready for tears, some unfortunate events and some cracking cooks too!"
