Being so close to the beach Dan wanted to give Luke and Lou an entertainers garden with a coastal feel which they can enjoy with friends and family for many years to come.

First, Dan connected the house to the garden, building a boardwalk out from the master bedroom to a pebbled courtyard and an impressive concrete entertainment table with gabion seating by Permathene

Over 200 low-maintenance coastal plants and grasses from Zelandia were planted into garden beds and huge corrugated planters.

Luke was keen to have the ugly old water tank in the back yard removed entirely, but given the time restraints Dan decided to transform it into a feature by painting it.

What we planted

Lancewoods, Buchananii, Comans bronze, Secta, Testacea, Trifida, Virgate, Festuca banks peninsula blue, and Uncinia red.
