Heartbreak Island lives up to its name
Season 1 winners admit that they're no longer together, despite their close bond on the show.
One of the few pairs who shared a romantic bond, rather than just a strategic one, their relationship gave them the upper hand they needed to win.
Sadly however, since the show wrapped back in February, the lovebirds haven’t been able to keep their romance alive.
On this morning’s Breakfast show, they admitted that despite giving it “a red hot go,” things just didn’t work out between them.
Harry said some “external factors” got in the way, but didn’t go on to reveal what those factors were.
Harry and Georgia seemed to be on polite terms, but the distance between them was obvious.
An altercation earlier in the Heartbreak season seemed to mark the beginning of the end. Georgia felt that Harry hadn’t supported her, and attempted to make him jealous in retaliation.
Despite saying that it made them stronger, the public argument seemed to be their downfall. They pulled together to see the season through, but called it quits shortly after leaving Fiji.
The honeymoon is officially over for Heartbreak Island’s first-ever winners.
