On 1 we've got a very royal family Christmas, with the Victoria Christmas Special airing just after the UK. And times are a changin' in Poplar as the ladies of Call The Midwife face their coldest winter ever.

Feature-Length Special: Victoria Christmas Special

TUESDAY 26 DECEMBER, 7:00PM

Join Victoria, Albert and the kids for a feature-length royal festive celebration! The Victoria Christmas special will air just behind the UK on 1 this Boxing Day.

The Victorians are famous for creating many Christmas traditions, including the Christmas tree itself. Tune in for drama, laughs, love and iconic moments!

Feature-Length Special: Call The Midwife Christmas Special

WEDNESDAY 27 DECEMBER, 8:00PM

As Poplar faces its coldest winter in 300 years, the midwives strive to provide the best possible care amidst the ever changing world of 1960s UK.

All around them they see the old East End vanishing, as slum clearances make way for bold new tower blocks to accommodate expanding communities, and the first West Indian midwife joins the team. 

New Series: The Toy Box

SATURDAY 23 DECEMBER, 8:30PM

In this charming new series, toy inventors pitch their toy ideas to a group of investors. If their idea sticks, they move on to the next phase where they must pitch their ideas to an even scarier bunch of critics: kids! 

These no-holds-barred judges then decide which toy moves on to the finals and is eventually crowned the winner. Then that toy is produced and sold in store!

Narrated by Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family).

Special: Mrs Brown's Boys: Mammy’s Widow’s Memories

THURSDAY 28 DECEMBER, 8:50PM          

Mammy’s back with a brand new New Year themed episode and the celebrations are sure to be anything but conventional.

Expect digestive biscuits, a memorial service and a bringing in of the New Year to end all New Year celebrations.

Special: Walliams & Friend Special

THURSDAY 28 DECEMBER, 8:00PM

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, Walliams & Friend captures the joyous theatricality of classic British comedy.

In each episode, a showbiz luminary joins David and the regular cast in a series of rib-tickling skits and spoofs.

Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville is David’s guest for this Christmas special.

The lovable local blockbuster hit is coming to 2 this Christmas Day!

When misfit kid Ricky’s (Julian Dennison) beloved foster aunt Bella (Rima Te Wiata) suddenly passes away, he’s left alone with his grumpy uncle Hec (Sam Neill).

The unlikely duo find themselves on the run in the vast New Zealand bush, evading child services and the law. A national manhunt is ordered and they are forced to work through their differences together to survive.

NBA: Catch Kiwi Steven Adams and his Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Atlanta Hawks live on Saturday at 2pm and then on Wednesday, Brooklyn travel to San Antonio starting at 2:30pm.

NFL: A huge 3 days of Live NFL starts on Christmas Eve with Baltimore hosting Indianapolis at 10:25am followed by Green Bay taking on Minnesota at 2:25pm. While opening presents on Christmas Day catch New Orleans up against Atlanta at 7am and then Arizona are up against the New York Giants at 10:25am. Boxing Day sees Houston host Pittsburgh at 10:30am to wrap our Live coverage of round 16.

MONDAY 25 DECEMBER, 8:20PM

Homegrown extreme fishermen, Leigh Hart and Jason Hoyte, have put their heads together to create NZ's most high octane fishing show.

But it's not just about the fishing... We see Jason and Leigh giving unorthodox tips like how to best use a set of Venetian blinds while waiting for the big kingys.

The full season of Screaming Reels will play on DUKE on Christmas Day from 8.20PM.

Movie: Cliffhanger

WEDNESDAY 27 DECEMBER, 8:30PM

Sylvester Stallone stars as a former mountain rescuer who is pitted against a group of criminals who have lost their $100 million stash during a plane crash in the Rocky Mountains.

After being persuaded to help rescue a group of stranded hikers, he discovers that they are in fact a gang of violent robbers who need help to locate their missing loot.
