As New Zealand prepares to head to the ballot box on 23 September, the 1 NEWS Vote 17 team will present comprehensive coverage of this year’s General Election.

Tune into the 1 NEWS Vote 17 Election Night Special from 7pm, fronted by Seven Sharp’s Mike Hosking with Breakfast’s Hilary Barry, 1 NEWS at Six’s Simon Dallow and Wendy Petrie, 1 NEWS political editor Corin Dann and Sunday’s Jehan Casinader. The team will go live to reporters and party bases across the country and present authoritative coverage and insightful analysis of the results as they come in.

Having eaten in hundreds of homes across eight series of ratings titan My Kitchen Rules in Australia, Pete and Manu will travel New Zealand to meet new teams of home cooks in TV’s most hotly contested cooking competition.

The gripping factual series is back following new recruits at the New Mexico Corrections Academy as they come face-to-face with rapists, murderers, and gang members who take pleasure in preying on weakness.

As the demands of the job takes its toll, the rookies learn that even the best training doesn't always prepare for reality.

NFL: Catch the Denver Broncos playing the Buffalo Bills from 6am on Monday, followed by the LA Chargers hosting Kansas City Chiefs at 9:25am and then the Washington Redskins up against the Oakland Raiders at 1:30pm. Friday sees the Green Bay Packers playing the Chicago Bears at 1:25pm – all matches Live.
