World's longest sea crossing bridge, connecting Hong Kong and mainland China, to open this week

The world's longest sea crossing bridge is set to open this week, connecting Hong Kong to mainland China.

The $30 billion bridge stretches 55 kilometres, more than 20 times the length of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

The bridge was due to open in 2016, but construction issues delayed it until this year.
