The Duchess of Cambridge has accepted a gift of a cuddly toy designed for newborns by giving a hint that she would like to have another child.
Kate Middleton and husband Prince William were at a reception in Warsaw after arriving in the Polish capital with their children Prince George, three, and two-year-old Princess Charlotte.
Kate was offered a cuddly toy bear designed to soothe tiny babies, Britain's Daily Mail reports.
Accepting the the present with thanks, Kate turned to her husband, laughing, and said: "We will just have to have more babies."
Polish fashion designer Julia Sielicka-Jastrzebska, who was at the business event, said Kate made the joke after learning the bears were designed for children younger than George and Charlotte.
"We gave the Duchess some presents for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. She said they should have more babies, and they laughed," the designer was quoted as saying.
The Duke and Duchess were visiting The Heart, an incubator for digital and tech start-ups in Warsaw, on the first day of their Poland and Germany tour - seen by many as a Brexit charm offensive, the Daily Mail reported.
