The star explained to Ellen why she was "fed up" with articles about her and also discussed the motivation behind her recent opinion piece in the Huffington Post.

In the piece, she wrote about the objectification and scrutiny women are put through.

"The way I am portrayed by the media is simply a reflection of how we see and portray women in general, measured against some warped standard of beauty," she wrote.

"They love the narrative. They love the story. They love the 'she's jealous' and 'this person's depressed'. We've just go to break out of that," she told Ellen.

Recently, the Friends star has dealt with "horrible" pregnancy rumors and has been tied into tabloid articles about the Brangelina Split.

"Women, I have to say, are many of the authors of these horrible articles that are written in these BS tabloids. We have to stop listening to the demand," she said.

"We have to stop buying them because we have to support each other."
