A Chinese model has taken a spectacular tumble on the catwalk at a fashion show in Shanghai.
Video from Victoria's Secret Fashion Show shows 28-year-old Shanghai model Xi Mengyao strutting the runway in a lingerie-style outfit and holding up a large lacy train.
Suddenly she slips and falls to her knees, prompting screams from the audience. Ms Xi then steadies herself and stands up, to applause.
Video of the epic slip has since gone viral on Chinese social media, becoming one of the hottest topics on Weibo, Shanghaiist reports.
Xi reportedly issued an apology on her Weibo account soon afterwards, her post attracting hundreds of thousands of likes, comments and shares in less than an hour.
"I'm sorry for letting you all down and thank you for your concern," Xi was quoted as saying.
"Working as a model for seven years, I have fallen down on the road too many times to count, but I know that no matter how much it hurts, I have to keep getting up and walking to the finish. The road to the future is long, but I will not stop," she wrote.
The Shanghaiist report did not say whether Ms Xi was injured in the fall.
