A TV ad highlighting the dangers of texting while driving delivers a powerful message, showing a woman having a horrific crash in her car while on her cell phone.
The South African public service ad starts off in slapstick comedy style, with CCTV footage showing pedestrians who're texting, falling into fountains and down stairs, crashing into poles and tripping over obstacles.
Then dashcam footage shows a woman driver holding her phone before she's involved in a shocking collision.
Captions on screen read: "You can't even text and walk. So why do text and drive?"
The ad was produced by the Western Cape Government and has been praised by social media users.
