Watch: Stunning timelapse video captures 3000 tonne bridge's 800-metre move

A 3000 tonne railway bridge in the Netherlands has been moved 800 metres as part of a track upgrade, the massive operation captured on remarkable timelapse video.

The process took three days, but the timelapse vision posted on YouTube condenses it into 49 seconds .

The 170-metre long steel structure is seen being moved to sit along two existing bridges in the city of Utrecht.

The bridge was carried on wagons with 640 wheels and moved about 800 metres along a special road, news outlet Volkskrant reported.
