Deadpool 2's latest promotion video, starring Celine Dion, Ryan Reynold's character and a peak of New Zealand's very own Julian Dennison, has taken social media by surprise.
Dion has performed Ashes, a song from the film's soundtrack, with Deadpool as her backup dancer and apparent director.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople's Julian Dennison also appears in the clip.
He is set to feature in Marvel's upcoming film, but little is know about his character and how much of a part he plays, with none of the teaser trailers released so far even mentioning his name.
YouTube users were delighted and stunned at the pairing of Deadpool and Dion, with some describing it as "iconic."
"Celine is perfect for the Marvel Universe, because everyone in the universe marvels at her voice," commented one person.
Others weren't sure what to think and had mixed emotions, but admitted that that is "classic Deadpool."
"Gorgeous song, amazing choreography, and damn all that sass. So perfect, I love it," commented Wulfy's Gaming Tidbits.
The clip ends on a hilarious note, with Deadpool critiqueing Dion's performance, saying that it's too good.
"This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic," he says, to which Dion responds "beat it Spider-Man."
The sequel is set to be released onto New Zealand's big screens in two weeks.
