Aerial footage of the Dutch, Caribbean island of St Maarten shows the scale of the destruction wrought by hurricane Irma.

Irma is thought to be heading towards Florida where towns are being evacuated and people are preparing for the worst.
"Welcome to our village wee one," the 37-year-old Prime Minister posted on social media last night after the couple's first baby was born at 4.45pm weighing 3.31kg.
