A hunter in the US state of Wisconsin had a surprise sighting when a small deer wearing a bright orange collar befriended him.
Brian Powers captured his encounter with the deer on video when it walked right up to him.
"This deer lives in the wild but is friendly toward humans and someone was smart enough to put the orange scarf around his neck to try to protect him," Mr Powers told local news station WFRV-TV.
The deer’s orange collar was apparently meant to communicate to hunters not to shoot, The Huffington Post said.
It explained that some states require hunters to wear bright orange attire so other people can see them, but game animals can't see the colour.
