A teenage gamer was arrested in Florida on Thursday after a fellow gamer told police he overheard him raping a 15-year-old girl through an open mic.
In June this year Daniel Fabian, 18, allegedly told another gamer he was taking a break from playing a video game to go and "smash" the teenage girl who was in his home.
Fox 13 reports, from an arrest affidavit, that Fabian then left his microphone on and the other player told police he heard the 15-year-old girl yelling "no" in the background.
Fabian then returned to the game some 15 minutes later to resume playing.
According to Fox 13, online records obtained from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office show that Fabian has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a victim between the ages of 12 and 15.
