Sydney physiotherapist 'filmed patients' on hidden camera, police allege

A Sydney physiotherapist has faced court accused of secretly filming patients with a hidden camera.

Officers were called to the clinic in Sydney's west on November 12 after a camera was found concealed in a change room.

Police will allege the camera was hidden in a clothes hook on the wall and patients were filmed getting changed.

A 52-year-old man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was arrested the next day before police searched his home.

They seized a number of items and granted him conditional bail.

He faced Fairfield Local Court today charged with multiple counts of filming a person's private parts without consent, and installing a device to observe or film another.

His bail was continued and he was excused from appearing before the same court when the matter is heard again on February 4.
