Super telescope begins detailed survey of the universe

October 29, 2019

A super telescope has begun the most detailed survey of the universe ever, measuring the movement of 35 million galaxies.

Scientists hope it'll help them better understand dark energy.

Dark energy has been explained as the mysterious force thought to be causing the rapid expansion of the universe.

The observation programme is expected to last for five years.
