Seven teen girls accused of 'extremely aggressive' Perth rampage, injuring child

People were left with injuries and scared following an alleged hour-long rampage by seven teenage girls through Perth.

A McDonald's worker was among those injured, suffering a suspected broken nose after being attacked in Perth’s Southern Suburbs on Tuesday, Nine News reported.

In total, eight victims were assaulted by the group of girls at Cockburn Gateway Shopping City in Success, authorities said. The youngest was just 12 years old.

Police caught up with the girls at a medical centre.

Speaking to media, Western Australia Police sergeant Dave Eaton described the girls' behaviour as "extremely aggressive" and said they acted in "pack mentality".

Police said the incident was not linked to any other incident, but a witness told Nine News the rampages happened quite a lot.

Police are reviewing CCTV to help with the investigation.
