Royal baby watch: Fans camp outside London hospital as speculation swirls around name for William and Kate's imminent third child

The royal baby watch is on with royal fans camping outside the Lindo wing of London's exclusive St Mary's Hospital.

Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are expecting the arrival of their third baby.

Royal sources are saying the official due date is 23 April.

Speaking from London today 1 NEWS Europe Correspondent Joy Reid says the sex of the baby is not known but  people are placing bets on the baby's name.

The most popular girl's names are Alice, Mary and Victoria while the most popular boy's names are Albert and Arthur.

The Duke and Duchess have a four-year-old son (Prince George) and a two-year-old daugther (Princess Charlotte).
