Robbers impersonating police get away with money safe and wallets in Sydney heist

Two men impersonating police officers have robbed a Sydney currency exchange shop.

The men, who were dressed in black suits, black ties and sunglasses, identified themselves as police officers when they walked into the Eastwood store on March 20.

The pair then pushed one customer to the ground while another jumped over the counter and emptied the contents of a safe into a bag.

The men then stole the wallets of a staff member and the customer before leaving the store and driving away.

Police on today released CCTV vision of the two men.
