A cattle truck driver in Queensland is counting his lucky stars after his vehicle rolled when trying to avoid a ute that pulled in front of him.
Jason Hoole's dash cam captured the accident last Thursday in southern Queensland.
Mr Hoole escaped serious injury after his rig rolled on the Warrego Highway in Gatton, reports WIN News Toowoomba.
The dash cam footage shows the truck driving along a two lane highway approaching a turn off, before a ute towing a trailer pulls out suddenly.
Mr Hoole tries to move the truck into the right lane, but the ute does the same, causing the truck to lose control and roll onto its side.
A number of cows were trapped until emergency crews came to their aid.
Mr Hoole told a reporter he braced for impact and was trapped inside the flipped truck until nearby drivers stopped to help free him.
"The Government has to balance pay demands across the public sector. We have gone as far as we can in terms of extra Government money," Dr Clark said this afternoon.
