No Harry and Meghan fanfare but Princess Eugenie set to tie the knot in front of A-listers

October 10, 2018

It may not have the glamour of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, but Eugenie and Jack’s nuptials will still be a star-studded affair.

The ninth in line to the British throne, Princess Eugenie, will this Friday night become the second royal to wed this year.

Seven Sharp reports there's nowhere near the Hollywood fanfare that surrounded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, but the Princess and her tequila-dealing fiancee do have their own A-List connections.

Princess Eugenie is marrying Jack Brooksbank, a 32-year-old commoner who was born to an accountant and a business owner.

Instead of university, Mr Brooksbank worked his way through the hospitality ranks and is now the face of George Clooney's range of spirits in the UK.

Eugenie is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Queen's second son, and the scandal-plagued Sarah Ferguson, Fergie, forever remembered as the royal caught getting her toes sucked by her lover in 1992.

Like Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack will tie the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor. But instead of gospel choirs and preachers, Andrea Borcelli is the headline act.

Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and Posh and Becks are all expected to feature on the super star-studded guest list.

But in a late bombshell, a prior commitment means Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will not be at the big day.
