Air pollution could shorten a child's life by up to seven months.
That's according to new research out of the UK looking at the impact of two main pollutants on children if exposed over a lifetime.
The study focused on the toxic air in Birmingham, one of five cities now required by the government to set up a clean air zone.
The report also found the health cost of air pollution in Birmingham is between $350 million to $800 million per year.
