A new species of dinosaur unearthed in Australia has been confirmed as the largest ever found on the continent.

The massive titanosaur roamed more than 90 million years ago.

The discovery was made on a farm in South West Queensland, with paleontoloists working over the past decade to identify the species.

It has been nicknamed Cooper, after the nearby Cooper Creek where it was found.
