Man charged after Sydney Zoo aquarium swim

A NSW man who allegedly went for a swim in Sydney Zoo's aquarium is set to face court.

Police allege the 30-year-old Peakhurst man ignored warning signs and entered the zoo's aquarium about 3pm on Monday while being filmed by his friends.

He will face Blacktown Local Court on September 17.

Footage showing a man swimming in his underwear was posted on social media, and is being used in the police investigation.
