King of Saudi Arabia left standing awkwardly after his private plane's golden escalator stops working

King Salman of Saudi Arabia knows how to travel in style, but that didn't save him from an embarrassing moment recently. 

The Saudi king was departing from his plane in Moscow yesterday on his custom-made golden escalator when the stairs stopped moving.

For 30 awkward seconds the king stands on the staircase, not moving an inch.

Finally he descends the stairs after realising his escalator isn't going to start moving again.

The Saudi King is in Russia to meet with President Vladimir Putin. It's the first time the King of Saudi Arabia has visited Russia.
