Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is spending her first day at the World Economic forum in Switzerland, on a panel dealing with climate change alongside Sir David Attenborough.
Ms Ardern has had an action packed day in Davos, Switzerland, where she "has turned out to be a bit of a star", 1 NEWS Europe Correspondent Joy Reid told TVNZ1's Breakfast from Switzerland.
Ms Ardern was on the panel Safeguarding Our Planet, chaired by former US Vice President Al Gore, that featured renowned natural history broadcaster, Sir David Attenborough.
She had a day of meetings before that, including with Prince William, the Vice President of Peru Mercedes Araoz and the founder of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, along with other country leaders.
Ms Ardern is looking to meet with as many of the European country leaders as she can while New Zealand is negotiating a free-trade deal with Europe.
Later today, she will be heading to a Women of Impact Function, before attending the chairman's dinner.
