Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham rev into action for their turbocharged "Fast and Furious" spin-off, "Hobbs and Shaw," in the first trailer for the movie.
The action-packed movie from Universal sees sworn enemies Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Statham) team up to fight cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton, played by Idris Elba.
In the trailer, Hobbs and Shaw fight, drive and shoot their way across the globe in an effort to track down Brixton before he can bring about a bio-hazard induced apocalypse.
Eight "Fast and Furious" movies have graced our screens ever since the first instalment in 2001. With a collective box-office haul of more than 5 billion dollars (U.S.) worldwide, the franchise shows no signs of slowing down.
"Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw," directed by David Leitch, races into U.K. and U.S. theatres August 2.
