British comedian Jo Brand has shut down an all-male panel following a comment one of them made on a sexual harassment story.
According to The Guardian, British journalist, Ian Hislop suggested that the story of sexual harassment coming out of Westminster were not "high-level crime" incident.
Ms Brand stopped the discussion on the news story saying: "I know it isn't high level but it doesn't have to be high-level for women to feel under siege in somewhere like the House of Commons.
"For women if you're constantly being harassed in a small way, that builds up and that wears you down."
Hundreds then took to Twitter to praise the comedian for her stance an thanked her for taking sexual harassment seriously.
