Anti-lockdown protest turns violent in Slovakia's capital

Several hundred people, many of them calling themselves football fans, and some far right supporters, protested in the streets of Slovakia's capital Bratislava yesterday.

Hundreds of people marched to the government offices to demonstrate against anti-coronavirus measures in the country.

The protestors threw stones, debris and fire crackers at police who tried to break up the demonstration with water cannon and tear gas.

Several people, including protestors, were hurt.
