Adelaide man banned from internet after online comments supporting Christchurch terrorist attacks

A judge put the restriction in place as a condition of his bail on weapons charges.

An Australian man charged after allegedly posting online comments in support of the alleged gunman behind the Christchurch terror attacks has lost his bid to be allowed back on the internet.

Chad Vinzelberg was charged with possessing a firearm without a licence and four counts of possessing prohibited weapons after police searched his Adelaide home last month.

The 37-year-old was granted bail on the condition he could not go online.

Vinzelberg argued he needed the internet to find a job.
