North Island, rain for most places, turning to showers from Waikato to Wellington, and clearing Wairarapa. Gale northwesterlies in exposed places, possibly severe gale in Wellington. South Island, periods of rain in the west. Rain in the north clearing. High cloud elsewhere, with few spots of rain in the south.
North Island, becoming fine from Taranaki to Wairarapa southwards. Rain or showers elsewhere. South Island, rain spreading north to the Glaciers in the west, few showers further north. Mainly fine elsewhere.
North Island, rain with heavy falls in the northeast,clearing. Showers elsewhere, but fine in Wairarapa. Northwesterlies rising to gale about Cook Strait. South Island, rain with heavy falls spreading northwards in the west. High cloud in the east, with scattered rain south of Christchurch.
Rain at times Tuesday and Wednesday. Strong northerlies dying out Wednesday. Rain with heavy falls on Thursday, northerlies rising to gale, changing lighter westerly late.
Cloudy periods with isolated showers.
