North Island: Rain spreading from the south, clearing later south of Palmerston North. However, mostly dry with isolated showers north of Waikato. South Island: Rain in Buller, Nelson and Marlborough easing by afternoon. Becoming mainly fine with isolated showers elsewhere.
North Island: Rain or showers from Taihape northwards. Mainly fine further south. South Island: Mainly fine, just isolated showers in Westland.
