The Duchess of Cambridge was on hand to congratulate Roger Federer on his record eighth Wimbledon title, but she had to wait her turn behind the Swiss star's wife.
Kate Middleton waited with her husband Prince William while Federer, holding his Wimbledon trophy, first hugged his wife Mirka and gave her a kiss.
Video shows him then step over to the Duchess of Cambridge who gives him three kisses on the cheek.
Federer then shakes hands with Prince William.
The tennis great met Croatian Marin Cilic on Centre Court in the men's final, winning 6-3, 6-1, 6-4.
Wimbledon tweeted: "Hugs, kisses and handshakes from royalty and the family for the Wimbledon champion."
