Nick Kyrgios labels umpire a 'f****** disgrace', violently hurls racquet to ground

March 25, 2019

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios could find himself in more hot water following yet another on-court outburst, this time directed at an umpire at the Miami Open.

As Kyrgios, 22, and doubles partner Taylor Fritz were dumped out of the Miami Open by the duo of Guido Pella and Joao Sousa, the temperamental Australian took aim at the chair umpire, visibly angered at decisions made during the match.

"What the f*** is wrong with you?" Kyrgios yelled at the umpire.

"You're a disgrace. Absolute f***ing disgrace."

Kyrgios continued to smash his racquet before directing another rant towards fans.

Channel Nine sports presenter Tony Jones however, appears to have had enough of Kyrgios' on-court antics, calling for him to be banned.

"How many second chances do you give this kid?" Jones said on the Today Show.

"The bottom line is, he's a foul mouthed little brat. No more second chances, he should be banned for three months on the back of that."
