Nick Kyrgios catches opponent off guard, serves sneaky underarm ace in Miami Open win

March 26, 2019

Australian star Nick Kyrgios is through to the Miami Open men’s fourth round, after serving a sneaky underarm ace in his 6-3, 6-1 win over Serbian Dusan Lajovic yesterday.

The 23-year-old was too good for Lajovic as he hit 12 aces in the third round match.

Kyrgios pulled out all the stops, serving two underarm serves, a between the legs shot and a no-look volley during his dominant win.

Midway through his match Kyrgios exchanged some heated words with a spectator, before the man was escorted out of the arena for heckling him.

Kyrgios is set to take on Croation Borna Ćorić tomorrow in his fourth round match in Miami.
