All Blacks second-five Ngani Laumape praised his combination with livewire utility Damian McKenzie, after the pair shone off the bench in their side's 52-11 victory over France at Eden Park.

Coming into the match in the second half as substitutes, the pair shone - each grabbing a try while McKenzie laid on an assist for Laumape as well as having another effort disallowed.

Speaking after the game, Laumape credited McKenzie for his electric performance in the All Blacks' second half display.

"He's got so much energy!" Laumape said.

"He's everywhere, it was awesome."
