All Blacks coach Steve Hansen gave a typically dry answer when quizzed about Richie Mo'unga's goal kicking heroics in Pretoria this morning, having sealed a 32-30 win over South Africa in Pretoria.
Coming off the bench in the second half, Mo'unga proved to be the All Blacks' saviour, first peeling off 70 metres with a punt from a penalty to put the All Blacks just five metres out, before slotting a conversion after the final whistle to steal the win.
When captain Kieran Read was asked about his message to Mo'unga before the kick, Hansen interrupted, saying:
"Kick the bastard."
Read simply said that his advice was for Mo'unga to "take his time."
