The Highlanders have shown there's no hard feelings between them and Fumiaki Tanaka after recreating a classic Adele song to show their former halfback how much they miss him.
Loose forward Joey Wheeler jumped into a studio with a guitar in hand to perform the popular British singer's song "Hello" with some differing lyrics.
"Haro, it's Joey," Wheeler starts off.
"I've been wandering around Dunedin hoping to see Fumi."
The serenade for the 31-year-old comes as the Highlanders prepare to face the Tanaka's new team, the Sunwolves, this afternoon in Invercargill.

Throughout the song, Wheeler brings up some special memories with Tanaka, including wearing grey undies and snuggling on his knee.
Tanaka played three seasons with the Highlanders since 2013 and received warm welcomes to the field as a fan favourite whenever he entered the game for first-choice halfback Aaron Smith.
He not only won a Super Rugby title with the Highlanders in 2015, but claimed the "cutest Super Rugby Player of the year" award twice.
